Former minister of condition for home in Gujarat, Amit Shah, who's accused within the Sohrabuddin Sheikh and Tulsi Prajapati encounter cases, on Sunday introduced he would contest the December Set up elections.

Shah told reporters he would engage in every procedure for electioneering from group conferences to addressing election and workers’ conferences while seeking re-election.

“I am greatly mixed up in party electioneering within the condition and that i will even be a part of every public activity,” he stated.

He'd contest from the five seats created from the erstwhile Sarkhej constituency after delimitation. 5 new constituencies are Sabarmati, Naranpura, Danilimda, Ghatlodia and Vejalpur.

“I haven't yet made the decision that of those five to contest,” stated Shah, who had been in the Navratilova Sardar Patel Stadium to announce dates for elections towards the Central Board of Cricket, Ahmedabad.

He made an appearance confident of having a ticket of his choice and stated that he'd contest the election with full vigour. “I won't be contesting the elections, but I will win this time around also having a comfortable margin,” stated Shah, who's presently on bail. “Last time, I'd won in the Sarkhej Set up chair having a margin well over 2.5 lakh votes. Now, after delimitation, it's been divided.... I'm able to win from these with comfortable margins,” he stated.

In September, Shah had come back to Gujarat following a gap of 2 yrs. The Top Court had permitted him to go in the condition while rejecting a CBI plea to cancel the bail granted to him within the Sohrabuddin situation.
