Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh required a search at CAG Vinod Rai on Thursday asking how come he not stop leak of reviews from his office, a next day of the second deprecated the "brazenness" that the choices appeared to be taken through the government.

"The CAG keeps us giving understanding (Gyan). We thank him greatly with this. Why does he not place a check up on leak of reviews from his office," Singh told reporters here reacting to some question on Rai's findings in Gurgaon yesterday.

"The brazenness (that) choices appeared to be taken is really appalling...", Rai stated speaking in the World Economic Forum (WEF) meet here drawing a clear, crisp reaction from Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari.

"If he discusses brazenness in decision-making and when it refers back to the time-duration of this specific government, It could be worth his while to recall he was area of the same government from 2004 to 2008.

"And That I guess, as he discusses brazenness, that paradigm equally is applicable overall to everybody who had been area of the government," Tewari stated.

Singh stated that as far corruption is worried, "we would like that it ought to be destroyed. We're totally towards developing a strong mechanism to eliminate corruption and giving a constitutional status to Lokpal for this functionInch.

Singh, were built with a couple of days back, also elevated the problem of report leaks in the CAG office. "CAG interim report again leaked. Would CAG rather than sermonising everybody please consider his Leaking Office?" Singh authored around the popular micro-blogging site Twitter on November 3.

The Congress general secretary had previously August 31 triggered a flutter by lashing out in the Comptroller and Auditor General Vinod Rai stating that he's a political agenda. He'd later also blamed Rai for "leak" of CAG reviews.
